As your parent ages and may no longer be able to live on their own, your greatest fear is that they will feel lonely or uncared for. My mom has been in an assisted living and now skilled nursing facility for going on 4 years now. During the pandemic this fear loomed even larger as we her family was unable to visit in close proximity for many months (alot of window visits had to be enough). Not only are her daily visits the highlight of mom's day but Delores provides that layer of personalized care that our mom craves and we believe it is instrumental in calming her state of mind.
